Breakthrough Brings in Nominations for Canadian Comedy Awards

TORONTO: Less Than Kind, the HBO Canada series produced by Breakthrough Films & Television and Buffalo Gal Pictures, scored seven nominations for the Canadian Comedy Awards, while Kenny vs Spenny, produced by Breakthrough with E1 Entertainment and Showcase, received two. 

Less Than Kind is nominated in the category for best direction (Kelly Makin), writing (Garry Campbell and Mark McKinney), performance by a female (Wendel Meldrum and Jennifer Irwin), performance by a male (Dave Foley) and ensemble performance. Kenny vs Spenny‘s Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice are up for best writing and best direction.
