Bravo 2 in the U.K. Inks Exclusive Deal for Monster Jam

LONDON, May 4: In an exclusive deal with Live Nation, Virgin
Media Television-owned Bravo 2—Bravo’s young male-skewing entertainment
channel—will be the first British network to feature Monster Jam, a U.S.-based series of racing and freestyle
competitions by Monster Trucks.

Monster Jam is a
series of live events and television shows created by Live Nation, formerly
Clear Channel Entertainment. The events are staged in the U.S. to create annual
World Championships that culminate in a World Series Final.

Bravo 2 has acquired a total of 22
hours of Monster Jam programming, which
includes Monster Jam 2006 and 2007 series, World Finals 2006 and 2007, Monster
Jam Crash Madness
and The Extreme
Science of Monster Jam
. The programming joins the channel lineup this month.

David Clarke, the managing editor
of Bravo and Bravo 2, commented: “We are thrilled to have Monster Jam exclusively on Bravo 2, it’s perfectly in line with our strategy to
attract young men to the channel and the high octane blend of trucks and stunts
is match made in heaven for 16-34 yr old men.”
