Blueprint Ups Madariaga

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO,
August 17: Blueprint Entertainment has promoted Elizabeth Madariaga to
executive director of development, a move that will see her relocate from Los
Angeles to the company’s Toronto offices.

In her
new role, she will continue to develop prime time and children’s series with a
focus on the Canadian marketplace. She will also continue to oversee production
on the animated children’s series Iggy Arbuckle, which debuted on Canada’s
Teletoon network in July. She will report to the VP of creative affairs, Brenda
Greenberg, in Toronto, and Frank Saperstein, the Los Angeles-based senior VP of
animation and children’s programming.

Since
joining Blueprint, Madariaga has helped oversee production on such projects as Good
Girl/Bad Girl
, Shoebox
Zoo
, Kenny vs.
Spenny
and Strip

. Prior to
joining the company, she worked in development at the SCI FI Channel. She began
her career at Alliance Atlantis.
