BlazHoffski Format Gets Brazilian Pickup

SÃO PAULO: Cinevideo Productions has acquired the rights to the Dutch format Hello, Goodbye from BlazHoffski to air as a weekly show on the cable channel GNT.

Cinevideo has already produced five episodes out of the 13 slated. Aired as Chegadas e Partidas, the series airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. The show spotlights the arrival and departure gates at an airport, telling the real-life stories behind the people coming and going. The Brazilian version is hosted by Astrid Fontenelle and was recorded entirely in the Guarulhos Airport in São Paulo. “We have been collecting compliments from the audience and reviewers,” said Monica Monteiro, the director of Cinevideo, of the show.
