BlazHoffski Acquires Independent Producer

AMSTERDAM: BlazHoffski Group, the producer behind such hit formats as Hello Goodbye, has acquired fellow Dutch outfit Dahl TV for an undisclosed sum.

Dahl TV, founded in 2002 by Maurice Dekkers and Benthe Forrer, is best known for the formats CIA (Keuringsdienst van waarde) and Fierce Kitchen (De wilde keuken), among others. The aim of the deal is to combine BlazHoffski’s and Dahl’s creative talents to develop hit formats for the worldwide market. In addition, Dahl will be able to use BlazHoffski’s Belgian operation to adapt its formats in that territory.

Taco Ketelaar, CEO of BlazHoffski Group, noted: “We are thrilled by this next big step after our recent joint venture with award winning producer/host Gideon Levy. Dahl TV will enhance BlazHoffski’s creative strengths, know-how and skills. As many other I watch with great respect CIA which is a unique format and very well produced. Recently we regained control of the international distribution rights of our format catalogue, including Hello Goodbye, Intensive Caring, and Mind Over Matter, which will be combined with the Dahl TV catalogue."
