Beyond Readies Catalogue for Cannes

SYDNEY: Beyond is heading to MIPCOM with 200 hours of content, featuring the new crime series Dark Minds, among others.

Two new crime series produced for Investigation Discovery in the U.S. include Dark Minds, about unsolved serial killer investigations, and Facing Evil, which brings viewers face to face with notorious female killers. Other series available include This Vs That, an investigative series that uses science, experts, experiments and the truth to solve common dilemmas, and Classical Destinations featuring Aled Jones exploring classical music and its composers in historic locations.

Animated preschool series Buzzy Bee & Friends is new to the market, as is 111 Emergency, which features New Zealand’s emergency services, and Dog Patrol, about dedicated Animal Control officers. The Big Experiment follows volunteers who undergo a radical transformation to step into someone else’s life.

Documentary titles featured are 5 Days In The Red Zone about the New Zealand earthquake in February 2011, and The Vanishing Antarctic, an exploration of the melting West Antarctic Ice Shelf. Comedy specials from Margaret Cho, Arj Barker, David Strassman, Puppetry of the Penis, Eddie Ifft, The Umbilical Brothers, Carl Barron, Nina Conti, Axis Of Awesome and more are on offer.

The returning series include Deadly Women season five, Monster Bug Wars season two, The Will season two, Love It Or List It season three and Chuck’s Day Off season three. Income Property season five, Mythbusters season seven, Toybox season two, Wild Animal Baby Explorers season two, Highway Patrol season three, Neighbours at War season six and Motorway Patrol season 12 are also available.
