Beyond Presents Greenstone Pictures Titles

SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution will be delivering more than 60 hours of programming from Greenstone Pictures at MIPCOM, including titles such as Motorway Patrol.

Motorway Patrol follows police officers who are confronted with daily chaos and bizarre situations while monitoring busy motorways. Also new for the international market is Serious Crash Unit. The series traces the complex chain of events that can make the difference between survival and death on the road. Crash Investigation Unit is back for a second season, with another ten half-hour episodes. Other Greenstone Pictures programs in Beyond Distribution’s catalogue include the The Zoo, Amazing Extraordinary Friends, Neighbours at WarRaise My Kids, Rookie Vets and Emergency.

John Harris, the managing director of Greenstone Pictures, said: “I’m delighted to present these programs to the market with Beyond. Motorway Patrol has become an iconic series in New Zealand, providing a unique insight into life of the people who use and police our motorways. Serious Crash Unit really portrays how difficult the analysis of a crime scene is for the police and how devastating these tragedies are for the victims’ families and friends.”

Fiona Crago, the general manager of Beyond Distribution, added: “We have a very long-standing and rewarding relationship with Greenstone Pictures who are world class leaders in making factual, fly-on-the-wall series. These new shows rely on unprecedented access that is able to take the viewer to the front line of areas either never seen or only partially known about.”
