SYDNEY: Beyond Distribution is headed to MIPTV with four new factual-entertainment programs from its in-house producer, Beyond Productions, including Monster Bug Wars!

The 6×1-hour series, which features a close-up look at the insect world, was commissioned by Discovery Science in the U.S.

Beyond Distribution is also offering the 13×1-hour series Behind Mansion Walls, which investigates the murders and crime committed by millionaires. Meanwhile, Outback Kids, which was produced for ABC in Australia, follows the Brahminy Group and its efforts to rehabilitate troubled kids in the Australian bush.

Beyond Distribution’s How Beer Saved the World offers a lighthearted look at the history of beer and the possibility that the beverage is responsible for notable breakthroughs, including the agriculture revolution. The documentary was produced for Discovery Channel in the U.S.

Fiona Crago, the general manager of Beyond Distribution, commented: “Beyond Productions shows are always extremely well received by our buyers. Deadly Women has been hugely successful for us so we are really looking forward to launching new crime franchise Behind Mansion Walls. The close-up photography in Monster Bug Wars! gives such a rare and detailed insight into the brutal bug world that makes it very compelling viewing.”

John Luscombe, the senior VP of Beyond Productions, continued: “We’re very proud of these latest offerings from our production slate. Monster Bug Wars! is a compulsive mix of mega closeup bug battles and a tongue-in-cheek production approach, Behind Mansion Walls captures the murderously dark side of being rich and How Beer Saved the World will make you wonder what they were teaching you in history class!"
