Beyond Brings Fanshaw & Crudnut, Brent Owens to Cannes

LONDON: Beyond Distribution is gearing up for MIPCOM and MIPJunior, where it will launch two new series: Brent Owens: Extreme, Authentic & Unwrapped, featuring the titular MasterChef Australia winner, and the animated kids’ series Fanshaw & Crudnut.

Owens will be in Cannes to help launch his new 13-episode show. Brent Owens: Extreme, Authentic & Unwrapped follows Owens as he uncovers food and adventures in South Africa. Beyond’s MIPCOM slate also includes Heavy Rescue: 401, from the producers of Highway Thru Hell, and seasons one through three of Carnival Eats.

Fanshaw & Crudnut will launch worldwide at MIPJunior prior to its debut on 9Go! in Australia. Aimed at kids 6 to 9, Fanshaw & Crudnut is co-produced by Blue Rocket Productions and Beyond Screen Productions. The series follows the lives of two poorly behaved, bickering slugs from outer space.

Beyond’s MIPJunior lineup also features the new CBBC series All Over the Workplace, which follows kids as they experience their dream jobs. Returning series include The Dengineers and Ice Stars, both of which were recently acquired by Sky Italia.
