TORONTO: Bell Media has completed the restructuring of its independent production unit with new team hires.

The unit, headed by Corrie Coe, the senior VP of independent production, has been restructured to reflect development and production of original Canadian production by genre across all Bell Media properties. “It was important to us to put the most efficient structure in place to support Canadian independent production,” said Phil King, the president of CTV programming and sports. “Under Corrie’s leadership, we now have the best team in place to take projects from concept to screens for all of our properties, and bring to life material that makes Canadians laugh, cry and everything in between.”
