Bebo Premieres Interactive Comedy Show

LONDON, October 24:
Social-networking site Bebo has launched Chelsey: OMG!, a new interactive online comedy about an American
20-something in London, which is being rolled out worldwide by Digital Rights
Group’s i-Rights.

Bebo, owned by AOL, has
11.6 million unique users in the U.K. alone, with a total worldwide base of 45
million users. Its latest original content initiative, Chelsey: OMG!, focuses on Chelsey Pucks (Kelly Anne Lyons), a
headstrong young American that worships conservative pundit Ann Coulter and yet
has a tendency to read offerings like Jessica Simpson’s Achieving Your Dream
Wedding
. From a wealthy
background, Pucks moves to London to pursue a high-fashion career. Two
three-minute episodes will be screened on Bebo.com each week, along with a host
of additional footage. Viewers will be able to interact with the show, with its
title star filming personal responses to fan questions. The characters will
also interact with real people within the video content.

In related news, i-Rights,
the worldwide distributor of the series, has partnered with Brandirector.com to
represent the potential brand integration and associated sponsorship
opportunities.
