BBC Worldwide Names VP of Latin America, Hispanic Channels

LONDON/NEW YORK, June 20:
Jessica Rodriguez has been appointed as the VP of global channels for Latin
America and the Hispanic U.S. market at BBC Worldwide, reporting to global
channels MD Darren Childs.

Taking up her post this
month, Rodriguez will be responsible for the strategic development and
implementation of BBC Worldwide's channels in the region and will manage their
day-to-day activities. Based in Miami, she will be working across BBC
Worldwide's divisions of program sales, new media, magazines, consumer
publishing and home entertainment to maximize and consolidate brand exposure in
the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets.

Childs commented,

develop the Latin American and Hispanic North American market for our channels
