BBC Worldwide Australia Reaches New Agreements

SYDNEY, September 4: BBC
Worldwide Australia has licensed more than 550 hours of lifestyle, factual and
comedy content in deals with XYZnetworks, FOXTEL and HOW TO Channel.

HOW TO Channel, the
Australian home and garden network, will premiere a selection of BBC Worldwide
lifestyle content, having concluded a deal for 192 hours of first-run lifestyle
programming. New content includes To Buy or Not to Buy, Cash in the Attic and The Trees That Made Britain, along with other new and returning series.

XYZnetworks has licensed a
total of 249 hours of lifestyle programs to broadcast on The LifeStyle Channel
and LifeStyle FOOD. The LifeStyle Channel will premiere new episodes of
continuing series Ready Steady Cook
and Bargain Hunt, along with
new series Paradise or Bust and
Dumped. LifeStyle FOOD will
premiere the latest in the continuing series Masterchef, Celebrity Masterchef and Masterchef–The Professionals.

FOXTEL has purchased more
than 110 hours of factual and entertainment programs to screen across The
History Channel, Bio Channel, Crime & Investigation Network and The Comedy
Channel. Bio Channel will air Princess Margaret: A Love Story, while The Death Belt will premiere on Crime & Investigation. The
History Channel will screen Gallipoli—The First D-Day, Great Raids of World War II and Greatest Escapes of History as premiere titles.

TV sales for BBC Worldwide Australia, said: “We are pleased to have been able

to provide this much content across varying genres speaks to the diversity of
programming currently on offer on subscription television as well as the depth
and breadth of the BBC Worldwide catalogue.”
