BBC Worldwide and CCI Announce Kids’ Co-Production

TORONTO/CALGARY, July 18: BBC Worldwide and CCI
Entertainment are teaming for DinoSapien,
a 15×30-minute tween-targeted series that is slated to launch on Discovery Kids
and CBBC next spring.

The show, currently in the works in Alberta, Canada,
integrates CGI dinosaurs into contemporary live-action scenes, telling the
story of 15 year-old Lauren, who works at a Dinosaur Camp, coming to terms with
the mysterious disappearance of her father while on a fossil expedition. The
series rolls out on Discovery Kids and BBC Kids Canada in March 2007 and on the
BBC in May 2007.
