BBC Makes Five-Year Commitment to Postman Pat

LONDON: Classic Media has received a commitment from CBeebies for the popular preschool series Postman Pat through 2015.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Postman Pat and the series’ long-standing broadcast partnership with the BBC. The BBC has re-licensed seasons three through six of the show, as well as four TV specials: Magical Christmas, Clowns Around, Pirate Treasure and Greendale Rocket. The renewed partnership sees Postman Pat’s presence ensured across BBC One and Two, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC iPlayer and CBeebies radio for a further five years, through to October 2015. Postman Pat currently airs on CBeebies daily at 8:10 a.m. and on BBC Two at 10:05 a.m.
