Banff Adds Speakers to Master Class Lineup

TORONTO, February 20: The
Banff World Television Festival, taking place from June 10 to 13 at the Fairmont
Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta, has added three more speakers to its
Master Class sessions: CSI’s
Carol Mendelsohn, documentary filmmaker Antony Thomas and Veronica Mars’ Rob Thomas.

Mendelsohn is the
executive producer and showrunner of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Antony Thomas is the director of acclaimed documentaries
such as Twins: The Divided Self, Man and Animal, Death of a Princess and The Tank Man. Rob Thomas is the creator and executive producer
of The CW’s Veronica Mars.

All three will participate
in the 2007 Master Class sessions, which showcase the industry’s top television
creators in intimate interviews that focus on the development and production of
TV’s most popular series. Other previously announced Master Class speakers
include Mike Clattenburg, the writer, director and producer of the TV comedy
series and 2006 feature film The Trailer Park Boys; and Greg Daniels, the executive producer of the
NBC series The Office and
co-creator of FOX’s King of the Hill.
