BabyTV Expands Spanish Presence

LONDON, February 28: BabyTV has secured a deal with El
Mundo’s free DTT channel EM2 in Spain for the launch of a daily one-hour
branded block on March 1, as well as the rollout of DVDs and a new promotional
campaign for the Spanish market.

In addition to airing the daily block on EM2, El Mundo will
release 10 BabyTV DVDs in both Spanish and English, which will be distributed
in their women’s magazine, Yo Dona.

The deal also includes a promotion for BabyTV in a campaign
throughout various divisions within the El Mundo Media Group, which includes
the Internet portal www.elmundo.es, the El Mundo newspaper, and the El Mundo
magazines.

Liran Talit, BabyTV’s MD, commented: “We are very pleased to
see BabyTV solidifying its presence in the key Spanish markets. BabyTV has also
recently launched on Imagenio in Spain, as a 24-hour pay-TV channel, and we are
already available in Spanish and Portuguese throughout Central and South
America through a daily block on FoxLife channel. With the launch on El Mundo,
BabyTV will now be available to viewers through some of the most prominent
media in Spanish speaking countries. We also expect to soon launch a Spanish
version of our new interactive website www.babytvchannel.com which is rapidly
becoming an integral part of our offering.”
