BabyFirstTV Signs Carriage Deal with Time Warner Cable

LOS ANGELES, May 8:
BabyFirstTV, which recently scored a deal to license some of its baby- and
toddler-targeted content to Shanghai Media Group’s BesTV IPTV platform in
China, has inked a carriage deal with Time Warner Cable in the U.S.

Time Warner Cable joins
the roster of other MSOs that carry the 24/7 commercial-free network for babies
and toddlers, including DIRECTV, DISH Network, Comcast, Charter and AT&T.
Globally, BabyFirstTV reaches more than 90 million homes, with carriage on
BSkyB in the U.K., CanalSat in France and Bell ExpressVu and Rogers Cable in
Canada, among others. Its recent deal in China brings shows like Rainbow
Horse
, Sandman and Picture Pad to the SMG-owned BesTV IPTV VOD platform.
