LOS ANGELES, November 8: BabyFirstTV, a 24/7 commercial-free
television channel for babies and toddlers, has entered into carriage
agreements with Panama’s CTV Telecom and Columbus Communications Trinidad to
expand the service into Central America and the Caribbean.

CTV will offer a Spanish-language feed, while Columbus will
offer the channel in English. The Spanish-language feed is also used in the
U.S. for the Hispanic market, as well as in Mexico, where BabyFirstTV airs on Sky
Mexico, Cablevision and PCTV. The Spanish-language feed is also available in
Puerto Rico through OneLink.

The expansion of the channel into Central America follows recent

France on Canal Sat. The channel is also available in the U.K. on BSkyB, Korea
on Korea Telecom and Hanaro, Taiwan on ChungHwa MOD and the Middle East through
Showtime Arabia.

Glenn Kopelson, the channel’s executive VP of distribution,
commented: “We are delighted to enter Central America and the Caribbean nations
and look forward to a successful association with CTV Telecom and Columbus
Communications Trinidad. The BabyFirstTV message of quality child-development
programming offered in a parent-child interactive format is being embraced in
every region of the world to make our channel among the fastest-growing niche
services in the global marketplace.”
