Babelgum Takes The Linguists

CANNES: The exclusive worldwide Internet and mobile rights to the feature documentary The Linguists, a film about a race against time to document vanishing languages, were awarded to the web TV service Babelgum.

The Linguists, directed by Seth Kramer, Daniel A. Miller and Jeremy Newberger, chronicles two scientist-adventurers who are trying to document languages on the verge of extinction. The film recently aired on PBS, and will premiere on Babelgum platforms on April 20.
