Babelgum Rolls Out Wedding TV Channel

LONDON, April 2:
Internet television platform Babelgum has launched a Wedding TV-branded channel,
featuring more than 70 hours of programming from the female-targeted lifestyle
network.

The
lineup for the branded channel will include factual content like Wags World, a series looking at the
world of the wives and girlfriends of the U.K.’s top footballers, and Celebrity
Brides Unveiled
, a fly-on-the-wall program in which a selection of British stars
provide a sneak a peak behind the scenes of their big day, and lift the lid on
their road to the altar.

Babelgum’s
content partners include 3DD, the Associated Press, Shine Limited, BBC Motion
Gallery, Reuters, Entertainment Rights, Gong Anime, IMG, Ministry of Sound TV,
Zed and Off the Fence, among others.

Launched
in December 2006, Wedding TV is a TV channel devoted to love, relationships,
celebrity, glamour and weddings. The channel includes a broad mix of
programming, from real-life stories and documentaries to a weekly magazine
show. The channel broadcasts 24/7 on Sky in the U.K. and Ireland. Additionally,
it airs in Poland, Russia and Turkey, and is supported by a website, www.weddingtv.com.
Wedding TV is also available on BT Vision, on mobile in Scandinavia and China
and online at Joost.com and Jalipo.com.
