Attenborough to Return to the BBC

LONDON, September 21: Sir
David Attenborough will be involved in two new projects at the BBC’s Natural
History Unit.

The renowned documentary
filmmaker will participate in Frozen Planet, a follow up to the hugely successful series Planet
Earth
. Frozen Planet, which is expected to air on BBC One in 2009, will
look at life at the Earth's freezing extremes, as reported by the MediaGuardian.

The second new series will
be Life, a major anthropology
series about human life on Earth, which is also set to air on BBC One next
year.

Life will be one of a series of programs the BBC is
preparing to mark the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's The
Origin
of Species.
