Armoza’s Still Standing Debuts in Spain

TEL AVIV: The Armoza Formats game show Still Standing has made its prime-time premiere in Spain on Antena 3, where it scored a 15.2-percent market share with its debut episode, 37-percent above the channel’s average.

The series’ Spanish debut last night ranked 37-percent higher than the channel’s 11.1-percent prime-time average. The show drew in 2.3 million viewers. Airing under the local title Ahora Caigo, the series now holds a weekly 10 p.m. slot on Antena 3. The Spanish version was produced by Gestmusic, a member of the Endemol group.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said, "We’re thrilled with the success of Still Standing, especially in a market as competitive as Spain."

Still Standing has also been commissioned in the U.S. in a straight-to-series deal with NBC. Cash Cab host Ben Bailey is on board for the American version, with eight episodes completed.
