BOSTON: APT Worldwide has scored the international representation rights to Earth: The Operator’s Manual, which is set to premiere on PBS in April.

The one-hour special, which is hosted by geologist Richard Alley, provides an overview of the Earth’s climate history and environmental concerns while assessing sustainable energy options. Writer/director Geoff Haines-Stiles, who produced Carl Sagan’s Emmy Award-winning Cosmos series, Creation of the Universe and other specials, said: “Of course we share the best climate science, but we know today’s audiences want to see solutions, not just restatements of the problems.”
