Andy Rheingold On Board New Adult Animated Series

LONDON: Writer/producer Andy Rheingold has been added to the development team for Space Stallions, a 1980s parody show that is being co-developed by CAKE and Gunhill.

Rheingold will work alongside original creators Thorvaldur Gunnarsson and Agust Freyr Kristinsson. In the past, he has collaborated with Steve Hillenberg on SpongeBob SquarePants and Tom Warburton on Codename Kids Next Door. He also wrote for Beavis and Butthead, on which he worked with creator Mike Judge. Space Stallions is inspired by a spoof trailer—originally produced as a graduation short film—that gained popularity on YouTube.
