An Englishman in New York Lands First-Run Deals

LONDON: Leopard International has notched up a string of international sales for the feature-length drama An Englishman in New York, which will receive its world TV premiere on ITV in the U.K.

First-run deals have been secured with Globoset in Brazil, YLE in Finland, Viasat in Sweden and ABC TV in Australia. Shot in London and New York, An Englishman in New York features John Hurt leading a cast that includes including Cynthia Nixon, Jonathan Tucker, Swoozie Kurtz and Denis O’Hare. Hurt reprises his role as Quentin Crisp, an outspoken dandy who sets off on the journey of a lifetime to New York City. Before long, he is being wined and dined by the Manhattan elite.
