AMCNI Ups Patrick Connolly to SVP of Programming, Marketing

Patrick Connolly has been promoted to senior VP of programming and marketing for AMC Networks International (AMCNI).

In his expanded role at AMCNI, Connolly will oversee marketing activities for the AMC and SundanceTV global brands alongside the company’s regional brands and channels in more than 130 countries. He will also continue to lead on-air creative and programming activities for AMC Global and SundanceTV Global and serve as executive producer of all film festival coverage for SundanceTV Global. Connolly will remain based in New York and report to Harold Gronenthal, AMCNI’s executive VP of programming and marketing.

Prior to his most recent role as senior VP of programming for AMC/SundanceTV Global, Connolly was VP of programming and scheduling for AMC/SundanceTV Global after serving as a scheduling and programming consultant with SundanceTV in the U.S. and Showtime. He joined AMC Networks in 2011 after holding various roles at Fox, working as a documentary programming consultant at Sundance Film Festival and as a panels programmer at Outfest and moderator at BAFTA NY.
