Amazon Unbox to Offer New VIZ Media Titles

SAN FRANCISCO, January 28:
VIZ Media announced that three of its animated action series—Naruto
Uncut
, Death Note and Bleach—will be available for digital download from Amazon Unbox.

Only the first 25 episodes
of Naruto and Bleach will be made available, while the full series of Death
Note
will be downloadable.
Furthermore, to celebrate the new agreement, one episode from each of the
available properties is being offered through the service for free until
January 31.

Naruto depicts the adventures of a young boy named Naruto
Uzumaki who trains to become a ninja. Although bullied and alienated by his
fellow villagers, his determination often inspires those around him.

Death Note, inspired by a 12-volume manga, follows the
adventures of Light Yagami, an ace student who finds a strange notebook dropped
by a death god. Any human whose name is written in the book dies, and Light
uses the power to rid the world of evil. But when criminals mysteriously begin
dropping dead, the authorities send a legendary detective to track down the
killer.

In Bleach, a 15-year-old boy with the power to see ghosts
enter the macabre Soul Society. With the help of friends and his cat, he sets
forth on a quest to save a Soul Reaper, a hunter of malevolent souls whom he befriended.

“VIZ Media has had a long
and successful retail relationship with Amazon.com and we are excited to team
with its premier digital download channel, Unbox, to make available some of the
