ALL3MEDIA Takes On WA$TED! USA

LONDON: ALL3MEDIA International has picked up the global rights for Discovery’s U.S. version of the hit factual-entertainment property WA$TED!, for which the company has already secured an agreement for France and French-speaking Europe and Africa with Odysee and Ushuaia TV.

WA$TED! takes the average household of eco-horrors and turns it into a green haven, saving families serious cash in the process. The series is originally a Fumes Production for TV3 in New Zealand, while in the U.S. the series is produced for Discovery. ALL3MEDIA International distributes format rights, has have been acquired in Canada (La Presse Tele), Portugal and Italy (Outright Distribution). ALL3MEDIA also distributes seasons one and two of the original New Zealand version. Season one and two have been picked up in Asia (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), Canada (French-speaking to Canal V, English-speaking to Tha Inc), France and French-speaking Europe and Africa (Odysee and Ushuaia TV), English-speaking Africa (The Home Channel), Israel (DBS), Finland (MTV3), Slovenia (Pop TV), Italy (Sky) and Thailand (True Vision). Series one has also been acquired in the U.S. (Discovery), Bulgaria (Proxima), Latin America (Turner), Australia (XYZ) and the U.K. for inflight (Spafax).
