ALL3MEDIA Strikes New German Format Deal

LONDON, January 23: ALL3MEDIA International has inked a new
deal in Germany for a local version of the British format I Want My Mummy (Mom’s on Strike) for RTL.

In a deal brokered with IDTV Deutschland, a local version of
I Want My Mummy (Mom’s on
Strike
) will have a 9-episode run on RTL
Germany under the title Die Hausfrauenstriek starting in February.

Romania has recently extended its contract for a further
four episodes in addition to the series’ first-season run of 10 episodes, while
a new option for the show is in place in Spain with Grundy Producciones.

Local versions of the show have also aired on CTC in Russia
(13 episodes), on SBS in Belgium (8 episodes) and in Slovakia (46 episodes).

The Spanish and Eastern European deals were brokered through
ALL3MEDIA International and Outright Distribution.

Originally conceived by Lion Television for ITV1, the show
is based around two ‘could do better’ dads who are left at home to look after
the kids—and also take them on an activity weekend to face a range of
challenges. Meanwhile, the moms are being pampered at the health spa where they
are watching everything via closed circuit television.
