ALL3MEDIA Announces Drama, Factual Slates for MIPCOM

LONDON, October 5: ALL3MEDIA International has prepared a
range of drama and factual programming to offer broadcasters at MIPCOM.

The bulked-up drama offerings include two mysteries from its
production partners in the U.K. and Australia, and a second season of a
youth-skewing drama series. Inspired by a true story, Torn is a tale of parental love, family and belonging in
which two families’ lives are turned upside down when a mother recognizes her
daughter who was snatched from a beach 12 years before. The 3×1-hour program
was originally produced for ITV1 in the U.K. In Emerald Falls, a 1×2-hour drama produced by Pacific & Beyond
and Spider Ink Production for Australia’s Ten Network, kindergarten teacher Joni and her troubled son Zac’s
lives are changed when a local doctor and friend mysteriously dies. The second
season of the 10×1-hour series Skins
will also be available. This production from Company Pictures for E4 and
Channel 4 in the U.K. follows a group of teenagers trying to maintain their
cool as they face the realities of life in the city.

ALL3MEDIA’s factual division will be arriving at MIPCOM with
several new offerings as well. The Great Wall tells the history of one of China’s best-known structures through CGI,
new historical revelations and testimony from expert witnesses. A part of Lion
Television’s Chinese history strand, The Great Wall was produced in association with Discovery Channel,
Channel 4, Phoenix Satellite Television and France 5. Secrets of The
Forbidden City
, another production from
Lion Television’s Chinese history strand, is a 1×2-hour program produced for
BBC and The History Channel in the U.S. and will be available for pre-sale at
the market. Guarding the Queen,
a 3×1-hour program
from Lion Television for the ITV, reveals what life is really like for the most
senior infantry regiment in the British Army. Transforming Keegan, a 3×1-hour production by Greenstone Pictures for
TV3 in New Zealand, witnesses the journey of the Maley family as they seek
surgery for baby Keegan’s rare, life threatening condition that includes a
fused skull which cannot accommodate his growing brain.

ALL3MEDIA will also debut two new series: Guinea Pigs, which follows five people who practice all manner
of scientific tests and theories on themselves, and Bondi Rescue, which follows the lifeguards of a world-famous
beach.
