Africa Channel Grows Caribbean Footprint

LOS ANGELES, May 5: The
Africa Channel has entered into an affiliation agreement with Cable Bahamas,
and is now included on its Oceans 195 package across Nassau, Grand Bahama,
Abaco and Eleuthera.

Based in the U.S., The Africa Channel showcases
Africa’s people, culture, politics, geography and lifestyle. The channel’s

recent months, following on the heels of launches in Trinidad, Barbados and
Jamaica.

“We are delighted with our
continued growth in the Caribbean and are proud to have partnered with Cable
Bahamas to bring The Africa Channel’s noteworthy programming to the community,”
said Eric Brown, the executive VP of affiliate sales for The Africa Channel.
