AETN International Launches New VOD Services in France

NEW
YORK, September 27: AETN International has reached agreements with VODEO.TV,
Glowria, and Vuze to launch branded video-on-demand services in France for The
History Channel, The Biography Channel and Crime & Investigation Network.

VODEO.TV
will feature The History Channel, The Biography Channel and Crime &
Investigation Network branded services, marking the debut in France of the
latter two brands. The VOD services will also be available through IPTV
providers such as Free, Alice, Neuf Cegetel, Club Internet, and via broadband
VOD portals like Noos, Alapage, VirginMedia, AOL and Club Internet.

Each
service will launch with French-language, long-form content. Series and specials from The History
Channel will include Barbarians, Weapons at War and Minute by Minute; from Crime &
Investigation Network comes The First 48, Cold Case Files and The Unexplained; and from The
Biography Channel are profiles of cotemporary and historical figures, including
Tom Hanks, Silvio Berlusconi and Vincent Van Gogh. Eventually, more than 400 AETN documentaries will be
available on the VODEO.TV services.

Through
the agreement with Glowria, a branded service for The History Channel was
created, with programming available for viewing via PC and IPTV. Glowria
Entertainment Group will offer the programs for purchase on its website,
vod.glowria.fr, and those of its retail partners, Fnac.com, Neuf Cegetel and
Dartybox. The History Channel VOD service on Glowria provides a variety of
French-language long- form series and specials, including Titanic, Ancient Mysteries, The Unexplained, From Ape to Man, The XY Factor, Biography and more.

Vuze
will offer The History Channel-branded VOD service with French- language
long-form content, including Lost Mummies of the Inca, Samurai and Command
Decisions
.
The agreement with Vuze extends a relationship with AETN International that has
launched services in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Portugal, Germany and the
Netherlands.
