A&E Orders Paranormal Doc Pilot

LOS ANGELES: A&E networks has greenlit a documentary pilot from Doug Liman, The Unexplained, which looks at strange phenomena and paranormal experiences.

This is Liman’s first venture into non-scripted television, after having served as executive producer on films such as The Bourne Ultimatum and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The Unexplained will spotlight real-life stories of bizarre happenings, including past-life regressions, hauntings, near-death and out-of-body experiences.

The Unexplained is produced for A&E by Air Extreme with Doug Liman and Russ Stratton serving as executive producers. Executive producers for A&E are Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant.
