PASADENA: A second season of 20 fresh episodes of the original series Storage Wars has been ordered by A&E Network, to premiere in the second quarter.

The first season of Storage Wars to date has averaged 2.3 million total viewers. The show’s December 1 series premiere was the network’s most watched nonfiction series debut of the year, and the show’s performance has continued to grow each week. From Original Productions, Storage Wars spotlights the fast-talking auctioneers and the group of loyal bidders that frequent their storage unit sales.

"Storage Wars has garnered critical acclaim and has risen above the competition," said Bob DeBitetto, the president and general manager of A&E and BIO channels. "Premium storytelling and amazing characters have set our show apart and we are pleased that our series has struck such a chord with audiences."
