A&E Ole Networks Creates New Senior VP Position

MIAMI: Melisa Quiñoy has been added as the senior VP of ad sales and new business development in a newly created position at A&E Ole Networks.

Quiñoy will be based in Miami and report to Eduardo Ruiz, the executive VP and general manager of A&E Ole Networks. She will be tasked with overseeing companywide advertising revenue initiatives and business opportunities.

Quiñoy was formerly the CEO of Dieste, an Omnicom U.S. Hispanic agency, and prior to that, the executive VP of MTV International and senior VP of MTV.

“Her expertise in Latin America, her insider knowledge of the world of advertising from the point of view of the client and her strategic vision make Melisa an ideal fit to lead the expansion of A&E Ole Networks in the competitive and dynamic Latin America pay-TV industry," Ruiz said. “Melisa is coming on board at the perfect time.
