Additions Made to Cast of New Starz Drama

ENGLEWOOD, June 17: D.B.
Sweeney, Nick Tarabay and Michael Fairman have joined the cast of Crash, the first original drama from Starz
Entertainment, based on the Academy Award-winning film of the same name.

Sweeney (Jericho, Eight Men Out, The Cutting Edge) plays a successful pre-bust real-estate developer
who lives with his frustrated wife, Christine (Clare Carey), and their teenage
daughter. Fairman (LA Law, Hill
Street Blues
) plays Christine's
overbearing father who, because of illness, can't care for himself anymore.
Tarabay (The Sopranos, CSI:
Miami
) portrays a police
lieutenant who is having an affair with fellow officer Bebe (Arlene Tur). The
ensemble cast of the 13×1-hour series, co-produced with Lionsgate, is headed by
Dennis Hopper.
