ACI, Germany’s Zeitsprung in Multipicture Deal

LOS
ANGELES, September 26: American Cinema International has entered into a
multipicture deal with Germany’s Zeitsprung Entertainment, with many of the
films set to debut during this year’s American Film Market.

Topping the list of titles
under the new agreement is Perfect Hideout
starring Billy Zane (Titanic).
Directed by Stephen Mauel, the film follows the story of a young couple, who,
while running from police, escape into a mansion and discover the family was brutally murdered by a
serial killer who is still hiding out in the house.

Another recently completed film
that will also launch at this year’s AFM is 80 Minutes, starring Gabriel Mann (Bourne Supremacy). The film revolves around a man who gets injected
with a rare deadly poison by his former best
friend and now creditor, who sets a life-threatening ultimatum to get his money
back within the next 80 minutes.

The two companies have also
collaborated on The Lost Samaritan,
which stars Ian Somerhalder and Ruta Gedmintas. The film centers on an
unassuming middle-class accountant who, in the course of 24 hours, discovers
that his wife is cheating on him with his boss and has become the target of two
deranged hitmen, after he was the "good samaritan" to an accident
victim.

Thomas Jahn served as the
writer and director of 80 Minutes and The Lost Samaritan. Michael Souvignier, Ica Souvignier and Rolant
Hergert served as producers on all the films.

“American Cinema International
is thrilled to announce the debut films from our most recent agreement with
Zeitsprung Entertainment,” said Chevonne O’Shaughnessy, the president of
American Cinema International. “We have partnered with Rolant Hergert on many
profitable films throughout the years and are excited about our newest
collaboration."
