Comcast to Offer New Summer Series On Demand

PHILADELPHIA: Comcast customers can watch hit shows such as Nurse Jackie, Dexter, True Blood and Mad Men throughout the summer via its On Demand service.

Comcast On Demand offers more than 100 hours of series each month, featuring titles such as CSI, Numb3rs, Harper’s Island, Breaking Bad, Desperate Housewives and Lost. There are also hundreds of popular children’s programs such as Dora the Explorer, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Tom & Jerry, Sesame Street and Barney & Friends available through On Demand.

Additional summer highlights include "Season Premiere" episodes available On Demand one week before linear premiere for shows like Showtime’s Nurse Jackie, Animal Planet’s Jockeys, Sundance Channel’s Man Shops Globe and The Lazy Environmentalist and IFC’s Bollywood Hero Part 1 and Z Rock. On Demand "Day After" episodes will be available one day after regular broadcast for shows such as Dexter, Weeds, Entourage, Rescue Me, Sons of Anarchy, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Monk, Whale Wars, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Hammer Time. There are also "Catch Up" episodes, allowing viewers to see past episodes of shows ahead of the new seasons. Series available for catch-up viewing are Mad Men, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, Dexter, Battlestar Gallactica, The Cleaner, Whale Wars and the best of episodes from The Closer and The Office.

"We offer over half of the top 10 Nielsen rated shows along with hundreds of other popular series from all genres, available to our customers on their terms."
