E! Expands Online Entertainment News Offerings

LOS ANGELES,
August 28: E! Entertainment Television has launched E! News Now, a new multiplatform series that offers
viewers at least 12 video news reports per day via broadband and mobile.

On broadband,
the new series will be available on The Vine @ E! Online and on select
distribution partners. Created by E! News specifically for non-linear platforms, E! News
Now
reports are each
one to two minutes in length and will be produced around the clock as news
breaks. Hosted by Valery Ortiz and Ashlan Gorse, each segment will focus on a
single story, and will include updates on the latest Hollywood gossip, fresh
celebrity footage and red-carpet action like premiere parties, shopping
excursions, courtroom drama and after-dark antics.

Ortiz currently
stars on the original teen drama South of Nowhere on The N, and recently joined the cast
of the ABC series What About Brian? Gorse, who is editor-at-large for Life &
Style Weekly

previously served as host/coach on MTV's makeover series Made, as well as an on-air reporter for
MSNBC's The Hot List and
At the Movies
