Rogers Adds Gravitas Programming

LOS ANGELES: Rogers Cable Communications has entered a multi-year deal with Gravitas Ventures, a distributor and programmer of content across VOD platforms, adding Gravitas Movies and Gravitas Events packages to the Canadian cable provider.

Gravitas will license 20 hours of new content per month through the Gravitas Movies and Gravitas Events packages to Rogers. Gravitas Movies showcases titles straight from their New York and Los Angeles theatrical premieres and from film festivals like Sundance, Toronto, SXSW, Tribeca and Cannes. This new relationship extends Gravitas’ North American reach and is the 30th operator partner Gravitas has licensed to in the last year. Gravitas programs thousands of hours of entertainment content, including feature films, documentaries, animation, alternative sports, wrestling/mixed martial arts, comedy, poker and concert presentations
