Peter Fitton Joins Disney EMEA

LONDON: Effective immediately, Peter Fitton will manage all of the ad sales and promotions teams throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa for The Walt Disney Company.

In the newly created role of VP of ad sales and promotions, Fitton will have an initial focus on media networks and online, covering the company’s portfolio of kid-focused, family-inclusive channels and online destinations such as Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Disney XD and Cinemagic, as well as Jetix.com, Disney Online and Disney Family. Moving forward, he will guide the evolution of the organization into a fully integrated and consolidated advertising and promotions group to include all products and services, across all lines of business, franchises and properties—both Disney and non-Disney branded—across the region for The Walt Disney Company.

Fitton was previously the VP of international sales for the Disney Media Advertising Sales and Marketing Group, based in New York. He joined Disney from MTV Networks Digital, where he was director of new business development.
