Virgin1 Commissions Talent Search

LONDON: Virgin1 has commissioned a series of programs featuring the Road to V competition, a national search for British unsigned music talent, from Que Pasa.

The 6×5-minute titles will air on the first Friday of every month on the Virgin Media Television-owned service, beginning today and running through till September.

Road to V, now in its sixth year, previously aired on Channel 4. It gives musicians the chance to compete for the opening slot on the V Festival in August. The show will follow the selection process of thousands of hopefuls, with behind-the-scenes footage as well as video diaries with mentors The Charlatans and Just Jack.
