Zebra-Distraction Producing Drama Format for Spain

MONTREAL: Following on the recently announced partnership between Distraction and Zebra Producciones, the scripted drama Windfall and Misfortunes has been put into production in Spain.

Zebra-Distraction has landed a deal for the scripted drama to be adapted for the Spanish market, with Antena 3 on board to air the show in its fall lineup. Originally produced by Locomotion Films, Windfall and Misfortunes (Les Lavigueur) is based on the true story of the Lavigueur family from Quebec, who scored an enormous lottery payout. The death of their mother, an honest deliveryman, an estranged drug-addicted daughter, an ensuing court battle and a media frenzy are all some of the realities told in the series.
