Nickelodeon Caps Off Successful Year

NEW YORK, December 12: Nickelodeon announced today that it
will close 2007 as the number-one basic cable network among total viewers aged
2 and older and across all core kids' demos.

This marks Nickelodeon’s 13th straight year as
the number-one basic cable network in total day with kids and adults. According
to Nielsen Media Research, for the year-to-date Nickelodeon delivered 2.1
million total viewers. Nickelodeon also averaged a 3.5 rating and 1.2 million
kids aged 2 to 11. Among kids aged 6 to 11, the network averaged a 3.3 rating
and 674,000 viewers, leading Cartoon Network by 94 percent for kids aged 2 to
11 and ahead of Disney Channel by more than 21 percent for the same kids’ demo.

In the fourth quarter of this year to date, Nickelodeon also
led in total day in the total viewer and kid demographics, delivering 2.2
million viewers aged 2 and older, and generating a 3.5 rating and 1.2 million
kids aged 2 to 11. Nickelodeon also averaged a leading 3.1 rating and 660,000
viewers for kids 6 to 11 and a 2.3 rating and 488,000 viewers for tweens 9 to
14.

Nickelodeon's 2007 television performance-to-date on
television was marked by a number of highly successful programming events such
as the premieres of new live-action series like iCarly, which ranked among the top five tween series for
the year, and The Naked Brothers Band, which also became one of the top-rated series for kids 6 to 11 for
the year.

According to comScore, Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group's
portfolio of digital properties also came out on top in 2007, with the
company’s websites averaging more than 88 minutes per its 23.5 million visitors
for 2007, up more than 5 percent over its nearest competitor in terms of unique
visitors. The Kids and Family Group also served up 7.7 billion game plays
across its digital portfolio this year.

With its broadband (TurboNick, Nick Jr. Video and Parents
TV), video-on-demand and wireless platforms combined, Nickelodeon accumulated
more than 2 billion content streams for the year. Neopets.com led the way with
2.8 billion. Nick.com served up 1.1 billion, up more than 30 percent over 2006
and NickJr.com garnered approximately 940 million, up more than 24 percent
versus 2006. Other sites, such as AddictingGames.com, Shockwave.com, Noggin.com
and The-N.com, brought in yearly game play totals of 1.7 million, 446 million,
154 million and 222 million, respectively. On its video-on-demand platform,
Nickelodeon set a new yearly network record with more than 200 million streams
for the year (combined Nick and Nick Jr. requests) and ends 2007 as the
number-one free-on-demand provider in the kids' space in terms of orders. On
broadband, Nickelodeon served up almost 1.4 billion streams in 2007.
