TV-Loonland Offering New Animated Series

MUNICH/LONDON: For MIPTV, TV-Loonland will be presenting a catalogue that includes new shows like My Life Me, alongside additional episodes of established brands.

TV-Loonland and co-production partner Carpe Diem Film & TV will be launching the tween-targeted series My Life Me at the market. The 52×11-minute animated sitcom is about a group of four mismatched tweens who are thrown together and experiencing the usual embarrassment of growing up. The show features a manga comic-book style, but with a fresh new graphic look and original effects. My Life Me has been commissioned by TELETOON in Canada and French broadcasters France 2 and Canal J.

TV-Loonland will also be unveiling the first five episodes of Mister Otter, a short-form series presented by a globe-trotting otter. The first eight seven-minute episodes of Pat&Stan will be presented as well. The show—available with 350 shorts, one half-hour special and a brand-new 39×7-minute series—follows two friends who take everyday situations to silly extremes. The first six episodes of its hit property Leon will also be on offer. The 52×3-minute CGI series was recently snapped up by Germany’s SUPER RTL.

Olivier Dumont, the managing director of TV-Loonland, said: "We are very proud to come to MIP TV with such a diverse slate of programs whether in terms of target, animation style and format. We are confident all our shows will quickly find great homes around the world."
