SingTel IPTV Platform Expands Offering

SINGAPORE, November 30:
SingTel’s IPTV platform, mio TV, in Singapore has expanded its channel lineup
with the additions of Germany’s Deutsche Welle (DW-TV) and the Philippines’ GMA
Pinoy TV.

Deutsche Welle (DW-TV)
will start airing December 1, with GMA Pinoy TV to follow December 15. The
content will be streamed via satellite direct from Germany and the Philippines,
respectively. For a 12-month subscription to DW-TV and GMA Pinoy TV,
subscribers pay a monthly fee of S$5.35 and S$14.98, respectively.

DW-TV offers a range of
news and programs on business, finance, lifestyle, culture and entertainment. GMA
Pinoy TV, in Tagalog and English, spans a range of genres, from news to entertainment.
