Kari Lizer to Speak at Banff Master Class

TORONTO: The first speaker confirmed for the 30th edition of the Banff World Television Festival Master Class series is Kari Lizer, the creator and executive producer of The New Adventures of Old Christine

The Master Class series showcases the television industry’s top creators in intimate interviews that provide the opportunity for the "master" to reveal their unique creative processes and trade secrets to making a hit TV show. Before becoming the creator, showrunner and executive producer on The New Adventures of Old Christine, Lizer served as co-executive producer and writer for the long-running hit comedy Will & Grace. She was a consulting producer and writer for Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, and was a story editor and writer on the series Weird Science. As an actor, Lizer appeared as a series regular on Matlock and guest starred on Empty Nest and Murphy Brown
