TV.com Signs Up Raft of Content Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, January 12: The CBS Corporation-owned TV.com is positioning itself as a competitor to Hulu, announcing a slate of content partners today—among them Showtime, Endemol USA and MGM—that increase its slate to more than 38,000 videos.

The content partnerships announced today, which also include alliances with PBS and Sony Pictures Television, add more than 1,000 show to TV.com. The slate includes select episodes from the Showtime hits Dexter, Californication and The Tudors, among others, plus clips and full episodes from Chains of Love, I Want to Be a Hilton, Cagney & Lacey, The Addams Family, Charlie’s Angels, The Facts of Life, Married with Children, T.J. Hooker and more. TV.com now houses approximately 38,000 videos from more than 19,000 shows.
