DCD Bags U.S., U.K. Sales for Haunted Homes

LONDON, December 10: DCD
Rights has sold the series Haunted Homes to
Fine Living Network in the U.S., and has secured a second-run deal in the U.K.
with NBC Universal Global Networks' Diva TV.

The series follows psychic
Mia Dolan and her team as they uncover the ghostly happenings in the lives of
15 families to see if the team can rid them of their unwelcomed spirits.

DCD has also secured two
sales on music packages. ZDF/3Sat has licensed nine music titles for the New Years
Eve 'Pop Around The Clock' special. Titles include Avril Lavigne: The Best Damn Tour, Keane Live at the 02 Arena, David
Gilmour Live in Gdansk
, Boyzone Live
in Manchester
, Simply Red Live at the
Royal Albert Hall
, Rihanna Live, Christina Aguilera Back To Basics: Live and
Down Under
, Sugababes Live at Indig02
and Elvis Aloha. MTVNHD has licensed
a package of music titles for an array of territories, including the U.K.,
Latin America, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark,
Finland, Poland and Israel.

Nicky Davies Williams, the
CEO of DCD Rights, said, "I am pleased that we are continuing to show our
strength in music distribution but also that we are building on the sales of
the September International calatogue which we have been distributing since the
merger last year. The September International catalogue added approximately 600
hours of fine factual programming to our catalogue and the sales continue from
strength to strength across all genres."
